For people wishing to use the Wayland session and be able to use a tablet of some kind an on-screen keyboard is very useful, Maliit-keyboard is the one picked by the Plasma devs is it possible to look at adding this to your packages?
Also some people get a better experience using kwinFT not sure if its an option you could provide?
Overall enjoying my first install of Solus on my PC, I am liking the theme colours.
Solus doesn't support officially wayland therefore I do not add stuff for wayland specific reg plasma. It's still has issues in plasma where it personally view it's not ready for usage. Does qtvirtualkeyboard not work in Wayland?
kwinFT will never come to the repo - Many optimisation it has where merged already into kwin and probably the rest will land into kwinsome time as well. You have to remember, I rebuild rev packages against kwin. So to have a proper integration for kwinFT I would need to rebuild rev deps which could conflict with the standart kwin package and cause issues down the line, which I not wanna support.
No qtvirtualkeyboard was stripped out of kwin a long time ago, while I agree with wayland not being ready, things like auto screen rotation are only supported under wayland , and a virtual keyboard is useful
