Hi there, i'm helping to translate Solus to Portuguese using this site https://translate.getsol.us , i had just finished the Portuguese language when i saw there are 3 Portuguese languages available to translate, its a mistake because there are only 2 portuguese languages. 1 - Portuguese 2 - Brasilian Portuguese.
I'm here to ask if its possible to eliminate Portuguese(Portugal) and convert the already translated Portuguese to Portuguese(Portugal), it would stay like this in the site:

  • Portuguese(Portugal)
  • Portuguese(Brazil)

Hello everyone. I agree with the Christoph3. There is no need to have 3 languages for the Portuguese. Portuguese(pt) and Portuguese of portugal(pt_PT) are the same language, is the mother language.
There should only be Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese.
For instance, I am the main translator of elementary OS and in elementary OS weblate there is only Portuguese and Portuguese(Brasil).
Another thing, who do I have to go to for permission to save translations in Portuguese on weblate?

    hugok I am also missing the option to save translations and add words to glossary on Weblate. This was possible before, but changed for some reason.

      @Fanton No, it wasn't possible before to save translations directly. It's always been that you can recommend unless you're part of the designated translator team. I did approve a significant amount of translations before the last translation sync for Budgie for Solus 4.

      I will be adding people to various translation teams when I'm back from vacation. Patience.
