Actually Eclipse turned out to be the easiest thing I've ever installed on linux outside of any software center stuff. I'm just having a problem more specific to libgdx and the os. I didn't see any disk related stuff anywhere, it could be that I'm using the Plasma version of Solus which might not have been the best idea. I like it so far, just used to things kinda just working with the very rare minor inconveniences. The iso thing I searched the forums and google with no luck and ended up finding a list of iso mounting software for linux and I literally just searched through the entire list in the software center. Finally came across cdemu that was in there. Installed it but wasn't working, bunch of searching, there is something to do with a vhba module that had like 3 different versions that had to be got separately which needed the current one which didnt pop up with my search for whatever reason. Just finding that out took alot of looking around. Finally it looks like it should be working but its not. I finally found out doing it through the command line or the file association wasnt working maybe using regular cdemu and when I right clicked the the iso I luckily noticed a gcdemu dealio which worked. That was all to get Everquest p99 installed, working was another matter. I eventually got it running but holy hell man. I think Steams photon or proton auto adapting thing to run games on linux will really go the distance to helping me and other folks stick with linux. I can't even imagine having to go through all the time for all windows game I want to play. Come to think about it I did try and do it quite a few times over the years with wine. Even wine is so much easier to use now. I remember like 10-15 years ago spending a week of on and off again going through trying to get different games working with wine with hardly any to no success. Now its built in and highly functional, super impressed with how easy it is to use now.
