No problem. I hope this gets patched as this will save some headaches for some users.
Oh yeah forgot to say,
Congrats for this awesome release

Infamous711 I have the update local, just need to find time to push it (which ain't easy at the moment)
LOVE the quality-of-life additions. Exploring now.
Also "Filter out audacious notifications so they do not clutter up Raven."--which button does this?
brent None of them. It's part of our filtering system that we have for certain types of Notifications when deciding whether or not to clone them to Raven.
P.S. The Budgie stuff isn't new. People have had that since April
JoshStrobl The cool part is "Packages removed from this release:" which helps what can you remove from your system. I had some of those stuff installed.
JoshStrobl the settings lists seem to get longer everytime I open them so apparently my brain is catching up
Party time!
14 occurrences of my name among the updated packages, and one added Budgie improvement/fix of mine. New record for me
Very smooth, I'm loving it
Happy to see the steady progress and yet another release.
I've had some problem in the past preventing me from using Solus and that relates to building snaps.
Has something changed lately that might make building snaps work?
I'm really interested in getting back to Solus but it's too much work to install & restore if it's known to still be problematic.
Some links to the past:

I would appreciate if people would keep this discussion to the release itself rather than random support requests. Please create another topic for that. Cleaned up some comments. Thanks.

Fantastic new release. Fast and responsive and very user friendly. Congrats!
Congrats to the Solus developers for another outstanding release . I just upgraded to 4.3 on my Thinkpad E585 laptop . Everything works great except of course the known Bluetooth bug where you have to suspend and resume in order to have bluetooth start to work . Hope this gets fixed soon. BTW I really like the new default wallpaper . I am using the Budgie DE edition .
I just made the plunge and wiped my HP Envy desktop today (using gparted to blow away everything and do a clean GPT partition table) and then I booted up from my new Solus 4.3 flash drive and installed it. It would be an understatement to say I'm very impressed with it. Budgie and Cinnamon are now my two favorite DEs.
I don't like messing around with setting up the working environment, but I want it to be pleasant to me. Therefore, I love Budgie. Everything I need is here. No need to install a bunch of addons.
I like the operating system to be fast and not overloaded, simple and at the same time efficient. That's why I love Solus. Thanks for another great release.
OK, I am going to post this even though I KNOW its a stupid question and already know the answer (since Solus is a "rolling release" model).
If you do a fresh install of v4.3...will you have the exact same system as if you have v4.2 with all updates?

Yes. I asked that same question a long time ago, and that's the answer I got.
In fact, a few times when I was creating a virtual machine, and a Solus 4.2 .ISO file was handy, I'd start with that. After the installation, a simple update would make it a current 4.3 installation.
No F2FS support yet?
what do you mean ? f2fs is there for a loooonnng time
