I'm running an up-to-date instance of Solus, Budgie edition.
About 6 months ago I installed the Budgie Windows Shuffler to manage windows placement on my 32:9 (5120×1440) monitor. It worked extremely well and I got very used to sliding my windows around using the hotkeys, in particular "super-alt-left arrow" and "super-alt-right arrow" to slide my windows left and right in the grid.
One day about 1-2 months ago I updated Solus and those same hotkey combos started switching workspaces instead of sliding my windows around. I figured out that if I disable and enable (turn it off and on again) the windows shuffler then the hotkeys will go back to normal for a time, but eventually the other config re-asserts itself and the new behavior returns. The windows shuffler hotkeys appear to be hard-coded and I haven't found anyplace where the workspace switching behavior is set either.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can resolve this? If I could figure out what process/utility/setting is overriding the windows shuffler hotkeys I'd happily modify that but I haven't had any luck. I also haven't had any luck finding the right set of keywords to type into google to find the solution to this problem either.
Any ideas and/or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
