I recently did an update on solus and was left with a blank screen. So I had to do an hard reset but then I wanted to check the disk so ran sudo touch /forcefsck to try and force a fsck on boot of the entire partition.
However it seems like solus ignored it and it looks like it never runs fsck at regular intervals like my previous unbuntu installs. Maximum mount count: -1 is the default on install and last check was at the install date. Why does solus not run regular checks and why would it ignore the forcefsck file in root. It does delete this file as expected but the last check date has not changed so makes me think it does nothing.
