So time ago Solus Budgie, on one of my computers, turned yellowish. Any updates since have not fixed the issue. If I had to guess I would blame the nvidia drivers. How can I revert to the old driver version? Or is there another solution? There should be nothing wrong with my hardware as the colors look normal when dual booted to Windows.

If you're using GNOME or Budgie, perhaps you have the night mode (night light) enabled permanently?

Go into display settings and disable it if it's enabled.

Night Light is what comes to my mind whit this yellow tint, but it should be off. I tried turning it on and then sliding the Color Temperature all the way to the Less Warm, but it becomes even more yellow.

    Maybe this is the issue:

"There is currently a known issue we are tracking related to red tint with NVIDIA proprietary graphics under X.org that is the result of using a different ICC profile. If you use a dedicated color profile, the current workaround for this is to remove your color profile then add Colorspace: sRGB."

Found in the blog post about Gnome 40: https://getsol.us/2021/04/27/fashionable-gnome-forty/

Katoa Thank you so much! This solved my issue:

Settings > Color >Philips FTV Monitor > Remove profile + Add profile (Colorspace: sRGB)

Now the colors look normal again.
