Touchpad Problem

Hi everyone,
I tried to install Solus Mate but I've got a problem with the touchpad. It isn't smooth like other DE(both in Solus and in other Distributions): so I tried to increase the touchpad acceleration and sensibility but It didn't have the effect that I want. For example, acceleration is quite good if I move fast on the touchpad, but if I move my finger slowly(for example to reach a button)so the pointer is too slow and I have to swipe the touchpad a few times
Did you experience the same problem? Is there a way to solve it? Thanks for your help.

giovanni Take a look at this and see if it might be useful. I don't know how touchpad settings are set/changed under Mate since I don't use that DE.

I've got the same problem on my Lenovo 320 and was just putting up with it but recently put Solus Mate on a Samsung ultra book (np305u1a); only half the touchpad works properly, switching of vertical edge scrolling helps a bit but touchpad mouse click still only works on the left side of the pad. Mint Mate doesn't have any of these issues and I was wondering why Solus Mate does...
