date and time applet tinkering

I would like to reverse the default order from Time on the left / Date on the right, to Date on the left and Time on the right. I am used to looking to the bottom right corner to see the time. Can anyone point me to the relevant .conf file (or whatever) so that I can take a crack at reversing this default display order?

if ur talking budgie, replace the clock applet with the calendar applet (in the repos). lets you configure the format right there in gui
