Hi,
Two days ago I switched from Ubuntu to Solus and almost everything is great. Today I realized my sound is not working, I fixed it with the following edit in /etc/kernel/cmdline
: snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0
. But my internal microphone won't get detected. I tried to fix it with options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=laptop-dmic
entry in the same file, but it did not help.
In the sound settings it looks like this:
I have an HP Spectre-x360 Laptop. The chip should be Realtek ALC285. I am more of less a Linux noob, so I don't know what to do. At the moment a mic is absolutely necessary for me, and I would not like to switch to Ubuntu just for conferences... because I like Solus a lot.
Thanks in advance.
