Solus Installer not booting with new AMD 5800x

As the title says, I am having trouble installing solus on a new machine with a 5800x.
The installer's bootloader will be run by the motherboard, but once a selection is run, my screen will go blank and my kb/mouse will power down.
Do any of you have advice for this issue? Thanks!
The GPU is NVidia 1070, 32gb ram.

I suspect you'll have to wait for the Solus 4.3 release. I think it's close, though you won't get an ETA.

Thank you for the swift response. I apologize for my not-so-swift thanks.
I will go ahead and use e.g. Mint in the mean time - it's a workstation/gaming machine, so I was never going to work hard to configure things, anyway - and that is when I would want Solus in particular. It's only ever going to have a game, a web browser, or blender on the screen.

my 5900x works flawlessly, so i doubt its the cpu thats not supported

Well, that is interesting, isn't it? I'll still be okay with mint or w/e for this particular machine, but I am very curious why this is happening. Could be hard to debug, probably not worth it, but if anyone knows just off the top of their head, I'd love to hear.

are u sure ur selecting the right boot entry? i seem to remember getting 2 solus entries (called uefi os in bios) where one would work and one wouldnt some time ago, maybe have a look at the boot order in bios

I may sift through it some time soon. As I said, this isn't worth more to me than an off-the-top-of-the-head answer, and I don't expect you all to put a bunch of effort into helping me investigate. Thank you, though, Lucien.
