I have a hp envy 15-cp0053cl and I recently upgraded a couple components in it. One of them was a wifi card which I replaced with an Intel AX200. The card strangely isn't working on solus gnome (latest non-lts kernel and packages) even though the same solus version on my ryzen desktop with a AX200 full sized pcie card works flawlessly. The card continually appears and disappears from gnome settings and is never able to connect to a network. I also notice some big cpu spikes from network manager as this happens which I suspect is causing some stuttering in firefox and games that was not present before the upgrade.
After doing two fresh installs of solus to the entire disk I dual booted windows and the card seemed to be working fine, with good speeds as well. I made sure to turn of fastboot in windows to try and alleviate any problems with dual booting, and I have tested a couple different kernels going back to 5.4 on a manjaro usb install without any progress. Any help would be greatly appreciated 😃
