After logging in, you can activate the touchpad with ALT + Fn + F7.
To activate it permanently, enter the following command in the console (Terminal):
echo blacklist acer_wmi | sudo tee /usr/lib64/modprobe.d/acer-wmi.conf
Enter your password, done. After the next start, the touchpad is activated by default.
