Linux Boot manager not showing

I installed solus 4 budgie replacing my manjaro installation , installation completed successfully without any errors but when I tried to boot grub-rescue was booting up( might me of manjaro ) and I was unable to find Linux boot manager in my UEFI boot order .

i5 8300H
Gtx 1050

Did you boot off EFI device to install? Is your EFI partition not full? Did you complete the part of the installation where you told it where to install the boot loader?

dbarron yes I booted off with EFI device and I completed the bootloader installation step ( on /dev/sda8 of 512MB , it detected automatically )( my manjaro grub was also installed on /dev/sda8 ) , I also have windows 10 in Dual boot.

eldraco is that the live CD's boot folder or your HDD/SSD boot folder?

I am not even getting an option to boot solus when I press F11 , here's the screenshot

Justin I mounted the partition and chroot into it. So I think it's HDD boot partition

I have also tried to install Solus today but its been something related to boot loader that has failed - either its full (took a while to figure that out) but when that was solved the installation finally completed successfully BUT still "Linux Boot Loader" was no where to be found 🙁

[deleted] ok ive tried a shit ton of solutions from just plain reinstalling to following a guide on reddit which said to create the boot partitions manually with efibootmgr etc etc - i also tried a couple of other distros (varios manjaro/ubuntu/elementary/pop-os none of those had installation problems but had hm issues elsewhere i didnt like. Just looking at the Live CD of Solus i really wanna give it a try SOO tldr; im gonna wait for a fix/update about this issue cause i really dont think its on my end i am however open to that (horrible) prospect!! 🙂

[deleted] I finally got it working by creating a bigger partition (512mb) to house my Linux boot manager - Solus seems to behave differently than other distros and im having a hard time figuring out all the differences yet! But ill get there..
