.icm color profiles in kde/plasma

I was looking for "color corrections" under system settings in Plasma and noticed it isn't present and that colord-kde isn't in the repo and haven't seen anything else recommended for installing monitor color profiles in kde plasma. What I'd like to know is to verify there is nothing at present to handle such profiles and no reason exists for me not to issue a package request? If package request then "link to source tarball/zipfile" would likely be via the download source as such here https://invent.kde.org/graphics/colord-kde , yes?

We have displaycal in the repository but I have no idea how it behaves on plasma. You may need colord-kde too. To be checked by plasma users.

Hi, I was thinking of using colord-kde for managing icm/icc color profiles, namely a specific one I've used prior and is the result of a Displaycal calibration with a Spyder 3 (and this display).
Displaycal tries to install a profile, if the user wishes, after it has been created however so I installed Displaycal and ran through the procedure. Calibration went well, installing the profile afterwards did..not?* It's a little hard to tell for me, well, without "color correction" which I saw indicated to be provided by colord-kde (https://hub.displaycal.net/forums/topic/cannot-install-profile-on-fedora-kde-plasma/ )

colormgr get-profiles
(I installed xiccd too which didn't make a difference. "Craig"'s advice in that thread makes little sense)
colormgr get-devices-by-kind display shows no output.

Edit. Tried also in Budgie to calibrate with Displaycal and after letting it try to install the created color profile: instead of that error re colord it says "colord: you may need to activate this profile under color correction" , which works well (Budgie and Gnome come with the color correction settings).
