Is Solus Plasma Good for my computer?

I want to install Solus Plasma on my laptop. Last week I was using Solus Mate and on 21st of April Solus Mate stopped booting. Whenever I tried booting Solus Mate on Wednesday and Thursday it would keep showing the Solus Mate boot screen for more than ten to twenty minutes. Why did this happen? I am planning to put Solus Plasma on my laptop. Will I have the same problem I had with Solus Mate that I will have if I install Solus Plasma on my laptop?

Anantgopinath That's definitely a beefy enough computer to run Solus Plasma.

Anantgopinath Just my opinion, but it might be better to try and figure out why Solus Mate isn't working before resorting to installing a different desktop environment or re-installing Solus with a different desktop environment.

What do you mean by "Solus mate boot screen"? What does it look like?
Can you get a prompt when you press CTRL-ALT-F1?

I used Solus Mate for almost 3 months until it stopped working by not booting and showing the Solus Mate Boot Screen for more than ten to twenty minutes whenever I would boot Solus Mate on my laptop. I'll put Solus Plasma on my laptop. I'll set a reminder of 3 months and see what happens. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it. If I need help with Solus Plasma 3 months later I will let you all know.
