Guild Wars 2 on Solus

Hi.

I'm having a problem with guild wars 2 on solus using lutris (initially budgie).
I can start the launcher and it updates the game, but it can't connect to the login servers.
Yesterday I tried fedora 34 and there it worked great. I copied the lutris config and game dir, so there was no difference. But for me, fedora plasma was buggy and i didn't like the boot time, so i switched back to solus, this time with the plasma DE. Again, cannot login.
Does anyone have the same issue or even better, is someone playing GW2 on solus?
Is there a firewall on solus, that i don't know of?
I'd really appreciate any tips & tricks to get it working.

Edit: Funny now I got the problem too, so what I said below is irrelevant now.
I had this problem a few months ago and like I said it was solved with the newest lutris-wine version.
If I find a fix for it I'll let you know.
Edit2: Downgrading to lutris-5.7-11 solved it for me. I don't know where the problem is but it has to do with wine, so the same fix that I used back then.

I had this problem too for some versions of Wine. That's why I used an old version for a long time but the current (lutris-6.4) works fine again. Maybe the installation script used one of the buggy versions and if that's the case try the newest one.
That's everything I needed to fix it, but if that doesn't work for you we can research further.

marcel You're welcome. Interestingly enough for me lutris-6.4 doesn't work anymore but lutris-5.7-11 does, so I guess it's a good idea to play around with different Wine versions if something breaks (that's also the reason why in lutris exist special versions for some games, for lol, mhw, mtga, nfsworld) . I have no technical background to research why it behaves that way but at least it's a fast workaround.

lutris 6.4 worked exactly one time, but lutris 5.7-11 works repeatedly, so problem solved ;-)
