Icon inconsistencies

In Solus, I see that the icons are not consistent between some of the applications. I am using Solus Mate, and my appearance settings are below.

Theme: Vertex-Dark
Window Border: BlueMenta
Icons: Menta
Pointer: Breeze

As we can see, the maximize, minimize and close button are completely different between these applications. Is this because of the GTK vs QT apps? Is there a way to make all applications consistent in their look and feel?

Sorry, I can't seem to find a way to embed the screenshots in the forum post. I tried both "Add a link" and "Add an image" and both doesn't work the way I want.

Well, the vertex-gtk-theme hasn't seen an update in over 4 years, so that might have something to do with it.
In general getting a consistent look and feel across GTK and Qt apps isn't the easiest job.

Regarding your images, you have to replace the "url" or "src" part of the markdown with the link to your image, otherwise it won't work right.
