hello, when I want to install a program that requires several dependencies to install, such as steam or lutris, at first it downloads them but when it has to extract, it extracts one and then stops and so on

Probably a time out. The software center is not great at informing you of why things went wrong. Glad you got it sorted, marking as solved.
