New appreciation for Brave Browser

WetGeek I am using JWM window manager, and do not have icons in the panel, except for those I start up when I log in.

elfprince curious (for my own troubleshooting purposes) if it works from the terminal if you type dbus-launch brave-browser ?

WetGeek I actually CAN put icons in the panel, just didn't get there yet. Now I will do that. Thanks for reminder! 😀

WetGeek EDIT: On second thought, given the number of smiley faces in this thread, I'm beginning to think it isn't a real problem to be solved. 😀

I hate to say this for fear of the hammer coming down on me, but in my experience it's not unusual (Tom Jones) to see some (handful or less) errors while launching any app from the terminal. Yes, many have no errors at all, as well, elfprince your output looks like a conflict (not a solus doctor nor playing one).
It's when nothing launches and red highlighted warnings flow like a river I know it's really serious.
That's just my barometer🙂

stalebrim that user.js is for people who find FF about:config a PITA like me. From my limited knowledge some of his configs will break sites easily, but at least the author had a caveat about this. He/she had a list of test-your-broswer-for-XYZ links I found interesting at the bottom of your link. That kind of stuff is a chase-your-tail rabbit hole.

I brought one of these supercharged blocker .jsons into Falkon (yes, Falkon) via GreaseMonkey and that thing rocks.

So one thing I've found, Brave does not preview .xls and .xlsx files in outlook owa. Anybody know a fix for this?
