Budgie randomly freezing/crashing after recent updates

Hi!
After the recent updates last week Friday, I've had my system seemingly freezing/crashing at random. I don't know if this is related to the updates or to my configuration.

Sometimes, the window manager (lightdm?) just suddenly restarts. After loging back in to my desktop, all windows have disappeared.
On other occasions, Budgie just freezes. I can still move my mouse, but I cannot interact with the windows and the panel anymore. I also cannot switch to the text-only terminal with Ctrl-Alt-F3, leaving me with the only option to shutdown my system forcibly.

I've posted the logs (journalctl -r -a -b -1) from my last crash on pastebin:
At 13:51, my window manager just restarts and has me log back in
At 13:53, the system freezes up fully

Any input & help is appreciated!

I-am-the-furthest-thing-from-an-expert 2 cents--
the only weird thing in the log to me was "could not open display config' peppered throughout.
Nvidia or native driver issue?

code 1's are a service that's off or damaged(?). Normal but I've been through logs for my own reasons lately and not sure that statement is sound.

2nd theory is check for broken packages in eopkg-maybe updates went weird.

I've had it happen a few times lately that everything but the mouse freezes. I figured it was something I did, since it coincided with my Budgie applet segfaulting (porting it to C; not the current production build, before anyone asks xD). I haven't looked into any logs though or anything to try to track it down.

Intel integrated graphics, also.
