KingLucius I was really excited to see how all the backend work happen 👍 really eager for Day 2 and for sure will be there. Liked how much you are organized but I wanted to ask, this update process can't done via scripts, it's much of work to be done manually. Thanks for the great work Josh ❤️👍
Saijin_Naib Do you feel like the work you did on the GNOME 38 /budgie-desktop-icons front will make the GNOME40 migration easier, or is this still a big thing to tackle?
JoshStrobl Saijin_Naib It'll continue to be a big thing so long as it continues to exist. It's still hundreds of packages needed to be updates or rebuilt against changes lower in the stack.
sangheeta I will wait for Budgie's upgrade to Gnome 40, but using only old hardware, I find that Gnome is becoming more and more demanding, my PCs are not as smooth as before and if they don't like Gnome 40, I'll switch to Mate.

JoshStrobl algent Yea, once I saw that, had to wait about 1hr30min or so for the transcode, but fortunately I'm able to upload a video in-place on Odysee. That's in addition to me having to deal with an audio desync that's only happening in the recordings. Frustrating all around but got some nifty ffmpeg commands bookmarked now so I can sort it out faster in the future.
