I'm not 100% this is the right tag to put a suggestion like this under so forgive me if this isn't the right place.
I installed Solus a few weeks and I'm loving it so far. The only hitch I've encountered so far is that, with a fresh install, links in some applications will not open in the browser. I found this with Zoom and MS Teams (installed with flatpak, snap or manually) on both Solus Budgie and Plasma. I eventually discovered that I should install the small package xdg-desktop-portal-gtk, and after logging out, everything worked perfectly.
I therefore propose including the package xdg-desktop-portal-gtk out of the box to save other users this headache. Someone will more expertise than me will be able to suggest whether its partner package xdg-desktop-portal-kde should also be included, however I know that links in Qt applications like VLC worked fine.
