Jumpy I want to try out the single mode / maintenance mode / recovery mode. I have the boot menu enabled where I can choose Solus with current or lts kernel. Is there some keyboard shortcut to access the boot options (to append single there)?
Jumpy Found it. One can press 'e' key on the boot menu (not just on grub but also on the uefi boot menu) to edit the boot options and append single there. Wanted to know how this is done before I start experimenting with the /etc/sudoers.d/ directory and /etc/shadow file.
