So, according to this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_size
At least 80⁺% of the world uses home or office stationery that is based on the ISO 216 standard.. specifically with A4 being used as their default paper size.

Yet, every time Solus performs an upgrade of my LibreOffice suite [packages].. can you guess what it reverts my (default) paper size to?
That's right.. (US) "Letter"
Did any installation (or first-run) script take a look at ANY of my system-wide "Region & Language" settings to even 'check' if I was in a part of the world where "Letter" would even be my default paper-size? No.
Why..?!??
What about any of my installed (and/or default) Printer(s)? Do they have or use "Letter" as their primary paper [page] size? Again: NO.
Why 'force' >80⁺% of the world to kowtow to "U.S. Standards" when clearly, there is an International (that is what the first letter of "ISO" stands for) Standard already in existence; used by several billion people across the planet, who shouldn't need to (*groan) have to specifically remember (and check) -- every single document EVER created -- just to make sure it was compatible with the local paper and stationery supplier.
