After the kernel upgrade in January i've been unable to boot in to budgie. I've identified that the issue comes from having nvidia-drm.modeset=1 as a kernel command line. i've tried changing it to 0 and i've tried deleting any reference to it from. /etc/kernel, /etc/modprobe.d, and /usr/lib/modprobe.d, and then run sudo clr-boot-manager update.
nothing works and Xorg.0.log is mockingly telling me that this is a kernel command line, but i have no idea where that order is coming from. I'm just a gui idiot that followed some tutorial 2 years ago and copy pasted something in terminal 😅
Does anyone have any idea how i can fix this? would reinstalling the driver work or is that ghost kernel command line out there to haunt me?
