uninstall package

After installation of below package my laptop booting taking time. How can i uninstall this package. Tried to remove with as " sudo eopkg rmf xorg-driver-video-radeon-19.0.0-40-1-x86_64.eopkg " nothing happens.

sudo eopkg install https://packages.getsol.us/unstable/x/xorg-driver-video-radeon/xorg-driver-video-radeon-19.0.0-40-1-x86_64.eopkg

anybody, support appreciated.

That is because the package name is xorg-driver-video-radeon

I'll assume you're running stable and pulled a package from unstable. You shouldn't pull stuff from unstable as a general rule. You can end up breaking your system. Drivers in unstable may be built against a different kernel version.

An if you just remove the package, and its needed for your system to function. You're in for a bad day.

Instead you should roll back to before the change, usage is explained here:

Tried to feed an attached text file but get msg " uploading files of this type is not allowed", kindly guide to restore to default.

* wine 4.1-58-1-x86_64 is removed.
* q4wine 1.3.10-8-1-x86_64 is removed.

Looking into it further just makes me more confused. You cherry picked a package from the unstable repository which is actually an older version than stable currently has available. Not sure why you would do this in the first place.

You pulled this from unstable:
xorg-driver-video-radeon-19.0.0-40-1-x86_64.eopkg

Stable has:
xorg-driver-video-radeon-19.0.1-41-1-x86_64.eopkg

This wasn't a regression it's just an old version kept around in the repository.

So if Operation #24 is the newest entry in history, you're already back. In Operation #23 you downgraded and in #24 upgraded to what is currently the latest in both stable and unstable branch.

So no further action is required.

case1 : If laptop kept running with not activity it get to snooze mode then not accessible nor keys work.
case2: I don't shut down laptop but close the lid and dash for office but then its gets not accessible nor keys work.

It is very tiresome to switch off/on laptop. Solus is little be hard....

No prob bro, Is it tech or user issue ? If user then automatic suspend mode in off mode then tech need to wait for a fix. thank keep support rolling.

I rarely use sleep/hibernate on laptops. Boot times are so fast these days it's nearly useless.

Yeah and it's not comfortable to sleep on laptops. A good mattress is much better for sleeping 😴
