I have tried to install Solus on both 4.0 and 4.2. While install succeeds, when I restart my computer, I am thrown to an empty GRUB screen with a grub >
text prompt. I can neither boot into my Windows partition or into Solus from here, and have to either manually pick Windows from the boot menu in my BIOS or install another distro in order to have dual boot working at all.
I confirmed that Solus is supposed to be installing the MBR at /dev/sda1, which is where all of my former distros have done so. I have no idea why Solus just refuses to create the grub menu. Further, there is no boot option for Solus in my Boot Menu in BIOS, it only shows the last install distro (in this case, Ubuntu), which seems to allude that Solus is not even installing the MBR at all and it's defaulting to an old (faulty) GRUB install, but I'm not sure.
Any help to fix this would be welcome. I'm currently on Endeavour and experiencing a mixed bag of things on there.
