There is this option in the settings, after you created a user you have to provide a password, but you can turn on the option for the password not being asked for for login.
So you should be able to just click on the user name within lightdm.
So I created a user and enabled the option that no password is needed. It seems not to make it to the login screen. The user appears there as expected, but requires entering the password.
This seems to be an issue...
