Hi there, it took a while but in the end I figured it out, it was just to late to delete this post as I had an early appointment in the morning.
What I did was I removed
com.solus-project.lts.4.14.216-165
com.solus-project.lts.4.14.217-166
I found this forum post in the end I figured I had to remove some of the old kernel files in the folder to free up space, and this was exactly what I needed.
First I had to find out how to mount the /boot partition and what the name of the partition was. And than mount /boot
sudo mount /dev/your-esp-partition /boot /mnt
with that I went ahead and
cd /boot
ls
and than used
sudo rm com.solus-project.lts.4.14.217-166
Thats it, it just took a while to figured out hot to do that
