DasJott Great news! Thank you very much for your spare time spent on this pretty cool system! I might repeat myself: I tried lots of Linux distros and this is the first to simply work out of the box. Still very satisfied! Edit: And I know ideas in conjunction with whisky 😁
Brucehankins Paul75 haven't tried virtual box, but I can confirm Gnome, Mate, and KDE editions work fine inside Boxes.
JoshStrobl We target bare metal not virtualized environments. It should work fine with legacy boot / BIOS in VirtualBox though, but can't say I have tried it. I typically used GNOME Boxes or bare metal for testing ISOs.
alexanderzhirov We now provide an option via GSettings to configure the desired screenshot commands, so downstreams can use alternatives to gnome-screenshot. Is there an example of how to do this? Please share.
RobertTVarga I'm new to this independent distribution, 7 hours old to be exact (plus, minus). What a breath of fresh air it is. It was childishly easy to get started and to pick up my online work right away, after a few software installation. And, it looks damn hot!
RobertTVarga Solarmass Hi Solar, I have the Budgie, version coming with Solus 4.2 I chose that as I have seen interesting reviews and I already know KDE, garden GNOME and others, so I wanted to widen my horizon with Budgie. It is great, I like it.
RobertTVarga redscorpion Agreed. It became, after some days of full time usage, the only OS on my laptop (Legion 5) and desktop (old Mac Mini 2012, as it wouldn't receive any fresh software), latter got a new life instead of wasting it. Although it was tricky with the old Mac.
