Hey guys, i was trying openSUSE KDE + i3 on my computer, and it was awesome, but eventually i decided that Solus was a better option and i decided to take some notes on Simple Note about the configuration of the Gnome + i3 Solus in the hope that it could be helpful.
So, here are my notes:
- The default gaps configuration is awesome, and it's quite easy to install and to be enchanted.
- i3-status was frozen by default, only workspaces were working correctly. Im using i3-blocks.
- I had to start my keyboard configuration on the i3 config file.
- Run i3-config-wizard was needed to have acess to the config file.
- Solus-sc could be more friendly to use with the keyboard. I can go all the way to a software, but i can't reach the "install button" thorugh the keyboard.
- Themes could be updated to be more Plata-noir-like.
