michael_s yea, I heard about invidious. But the problems are:

are you sure that that link would be available in 10 days? 3 months?
sometimes on this forum we have spammers who try to add malicious links, that could look like a valid links
I guess many users would just avoid clicking on such long links like yours because of above concerns

well, this thread consists of mostly YT links anyway. Because there is no alternative to share songs easily. Also video thumbnails are nice to have when you decide to click on the video or not.
