WannaBeOCer Only complaint I have is losing 150% scaling for 4K displays.
This surprised me. On my laptop with full HD, I use 1.25% scaling, and I use Budgie. The setting is part of Budgie Desktop Settings.
It's changeable it increments of 1. I changed it to 1.50 to confirm that it goes that high.
EDIT: Also going to change my media computer from MATE back to Budgie. I originally changed to MATE because it was able to stream videos better, but the HIDPI setting there (to deal with the 4K telly) makes text unnecessarily large. Changing the text scaling to something between 1.25 and 1.50 will be more useful, and by this time improvements to Budgie may have helped its video streaming ability. And it gives me something interesting to do. 😀
More EDIT: Done. The current Solus Budgie has none of the tearing and jerkiness that caused me to change to MATE for the media machine a long time ago. And the Text Scaling setting of Budgie suits me a lot better than the HIDPI setting on MATE ... it's a lot more configurable. It wasn't a quick setup, all told, but it was well worth the time and effort.
