I have noticed that DNS resolution of .local addresses is not working correctly anymore for me. I can not tell for sure but i think this behaviour started about 2 weeks ago. I noticed it when querying an .local address via Firefox which timed out after a while. Doing the same in chromium worked. So I looked up the IP address via nslookup which worked and used this one in Firefox which also worked. But pinging the DNS name times out. I looked on port 53 with tcpdump while I was doing all this. The working attempts connected to my local dnsmasq as expected. The not working ones did not even send the request to localhost.
Anyone else with similar issues or a solution?
