I really do apologize since there seems to be a bunch of posts just like this, but none of them that I have found describe my issue.
I am trying to live boot Solus with the intention of setting up a dual-boot on my desktop but every time I try to boot via the USB I get an error code...
usbhid 5-4:1.3: couldn't find an input interrupt endpoint
...then these two multi-coloured lines pop up on screen and it completely freezes, I am unable to launch a terminal or anything. I saw somewhere that pressing spacebar would bring up a boot menu, but unless the boot menu if the choice of booting Solus 4.1 or restarting then I am unable to even get there. I also saw that the error code may be related to the mouse, but unplugging the mouse does nothing. A weird thing that happens is that if I wait long enough a sound, almost like a startup chime, plays out of my speakers.
I have a feeling that this may have something to do with nvidia, but I am not sure how I would go about fixing that. I don't have another gpu on hand.
