Hello,
I've used Solus in the past, and I just switched back after being away for a little while. However, I seem to be having some issues on my computer. I performed a fresh install and haven't installed too many other programs yet. I'm running on a Dell XPS 15 9550 from 2016, so my hardware is certainly not cutting edge anymore.
What happens is I am doing some work (nothing particularly intense, just some web browsing and maybe text editing), and the computer freezes, and I have to use the power button to cycle the computer. Also, when the crashing/freezing occurs, the caps lock light blinks on and off (a quick search leads me to thing that may be due to a kernel panic?).
I ran "sudo eopkg up" and "sudo eopkg check | grep Broken | awk '{print $4}' | xargs sudo eopkg it --reinstall", but this didn't seem to solve the issue.
I also saw some users run the following command in some other posts, so here is some logging info. Though, I should note, this actually doesn't appear to include the time of the crash.
sudo journalctl --no-pager -p 3 --no-hostname -b

I do have a discrete GPU, but I don't have any of the proprietary drivers installed, so I don't think that that would be the cause of the issue.
I should also note that sometimes my display seems to flicker, though this mostly seems to occur while in Firefox.
I am willing to do another clean install if that is the best option, but figured it was worth checking here to see if anyone has run across this and knows some way to fix this issue.
