How do I change Kernals?

I am trying Solus on an older computer and am getting series of short lines down five columns of the screen. I think the solution may be trying a different kernal but I cannot figure out how to change what kernal I am using. I know that's a feature in Linux Mint and Manjaro (other distros I have used). Can anyone direct me to where I go to change what kernal I am using?

There is only one kernel available with the ISO. Once you have Solus installed you can choose between the current kernel and the lts (long term support) kernel. See here https://getsol.us/articles/troubleshooting/boot-management/en/

Solus is in a strange spot with kernels right now where the devs would like to update the ISO kernel, but they feel that the available options right now are not good. See the discussion here: https://discuss.getsol.us/d/4899-let-s-talk-about-the-lts-kernels
