I got an "Upates Available" notification this morning. Following my usual practice, I updated via Terminal "sudo eopkg up". The update process was successful.
After updating, Terminal "sudo eopkg up" command reports: "eopkg-index xml.yz.sha1sum (40.0 B)100% 708.25 KB/s [00:00:00] [complete] Solus repository information is up-to-date. No packages to upgrade."
However, when I subsequently checked the graphical updater, I did not get the expected "Software is up to date" message. Instead, the graphical updater is stuck on the "Discombobulating update matrix ..." screen, with the spinning eyeball not resolving. After a while, I closed the graphical updater and rebooted. After reboot, I've let it run for about an hour, without a change.
I ran "sudo eopkg check" and all lines returned "OK", except these relating to NVIDA drivers:
Checking integrity of linux-firmare Broken
Corrupted file: /lib/firmware/nvidia/tut104/acr/ucode_upload.bin
Corrupted file: /lib/firmware/nvidia/tut106/acr/ucode_upload.bin. '
I am using Solus 4.1 Budgie, Kernel 5.10.1-162.current, Gnome 3.38.2, Intel i7-9700T, Intel 620 graphics.
Does anyone have suggestions about how I can resolve the graphical updater issue?
