Abhisht02 Just did a fresh install of budgie but after updating, I can no longer change the screen resolution from settings. Its locked on 4k. same issue on gnome
godspeed Resolution and Orientation options in GNOME control center broke somewhere in the 3.38 stack upgrade. Try using arandr or to set the resolution instead.
JoshStrobl This is an issue reported upstream: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/1204
godspeed Install arandr from the Software Center Launch it. You should see a window with all of your monitors displayed as gray squares with names like VGA-1 or HDMI-A-0. If you right click a monitor, you get to a little menu where you can choose the resolution. Hit apply (the ✔️ symbol) Hope that helps!
