Alt tab isn't working to switch tabs in KDE plasma

Alt + tab doesn't seem to work when I want to switch tabs fast. it just does an animation and puts the programs in the corners and that's it. No way to actually switch tabs. i have also tried doing Alt + ` but it just does an animation and no actual switching of tabs is happening.

here it works fine, moving the windows into the corner sounds like show desktop to me. Did you add maybe an own key-shortcut?

Girtablulu it's actually walk through windows i'm doing. what shortcut should I use to switch between tabs/programs?

Linux13 doing Alt+tab and Meta + D does the same thing so yeah it's show desktop. but what command is to switch thru programs?

Linux13 the default is for switching between windows is alt+tab, check your bindings if you have show desktop bind twice on different commands

Girtablulu I don't know but the alt + tab is the same for showing desktop. btw the de im using is kde plasma

my default alt + tab is really show desktop. just need to be tolerant with toggle present windows and click on what I want

Linux13 I know that you are using plasma 🙂 dunno why you have both function on the same key shortcut but I suggest to fix one

Girtablulu yeah it was the default one. I think plasma doesnt have the alt tab automatically switching to another workspace/application I guess. you explicitly need to choose what workspace you want to switch to
