I've installed Solus in an Atom N455 based netbook a few days ago. I really like it so far, but I'm bummed that the kernel configuration has "CONFIG_ACPI_CMPC" not set, thus no classmate_laptop kernel module... thus no support for the custom keys in this little machine that control RFKill, screen backlight, audio volume/mute, suspend, etc.
This is the first distro I've tried in the last decade that doesn't supports the classmate platform driver by default.
Any chance of turning that kernel config on? (the hardware, and my internet connection, are too weak to attempt to compile and install a new kernel on my end).
In general... any good reason for not enabling compilation of ALL the drivers under "drivers/platform/"? (or all the drivers, period).
Thanks in advance. I would REALLY like to keep running Solus on this machine! (I have another similar one that would also benefit of having the mentioned module available).
