TYPEc I have an old HP 15-af113cl laptop that I want to install solus to, but it uses a Broadcom WiFi chip. Broadcom WiFi drivers are now free, so why doesn't solus have support for them?
kyrios Broadcom STA wifi drivers are in the repository and they are not free. The brcm80211 and b43 kernel modules are enabled.
salexandarz It doesn't work through installation. You must have wired connection or connected phone with usb tethering enabled to install broadcom-sta. I suggest lts kernel in this case.
