Steam fails to start

Hi,

I'm using Solus on my laptop as a 2nd computer, installed the OS a while ago and also installed Steam from the Solus package. As I didn't go online often with it, I set Steam to offline use. Today after installing the latest Solus updates I tried to reconnect Steam to my online account, but failed. It only started the connection window, I was once asked for the login data, then nothing. After a while waiting, I cancelled it, de-installed Steam and restarted.
After restart I installed the Steam app from the package but got pretty much the same results.
Then I started Steam on the Terminal and got following output:

After 10 minutes I closed Steam and started a new attempt with Terminal.
Now I got different output and Steam started:

Still I do not know why it refused to start at first, except some uninstalled manifiest warnings.

Anyhow Steam is now running, I'd like to get some intel on what has gone wrong, should anybody be able to.
