  • Thanks for the outstanding update today!!

Hi there!

I just want to thank @JoshStrobl and the team and developers out there wholeheartedly for today's updates:
In my case it was downright 100 packages, and the updating via the terminal took just about one minute (and not a single glitch!)!!
That can of course be due to somebody bribing someone at the repo's server farm (great job, pal!) or due to me using a faster internet connection at my ladyfriend's (which I doubt).
But it's also fantastic to know that our OS is so well taken care of, that we can - for instance - keep using what was youtube-dl as if nothing had happened! Thank you so much!
SOLUS is one fab operating system! I love it - have I said that before?

The thanks go to all the fantastic contributors, that tirelessly provide patches. I have the easier part of landing this, or in the case of the hundreds of packages @Girtablulu updated (Qt5, KDE Frameworks, Applications, Plasma Desktop) I was able to just chill and he spent who knows how many hours pushing and testing all of it.

Solus isn't just about me, or Bryan, or anyone else on the Team. It's about all of us and what we all do to help improve home computing on Linux.

    True.
But I've got to start thanking someone somewhere, and you guys coordinating it all are where I'd like to start.
My little contribution is spreading the word and suggesting to install Solus. πŸ˜„

JoshStrobl Not related to the post besides the fact that Solus is by far the best distro...how did the team come up with the name?

I would also like to say thank you to the team. I got my plasma update through without any problems

While SOLUSfiddler is soaking you in praise, allow me to throw some out as well. Budgie updates have been pretty smooth and I still love this meticulous DE to the point I have not set out to experience the other 3. Except Gnome. I didn't dig that at allπŸ™‚
