WetGeek I'll check.
Koa I really wish there were better Installer scripts that could pick through your hard drive configurations, format the disk, create the right partitions and then install things properly. I have been trying to do a BTRFS setup with Solus giving it a whole 500 GB SSD to play with but just cannot get there (nor with Manjaro my current go-to distro). My other SSD (daily driver) is not G-disked and maybe that has something to do with it, or maybe my BIOS settings are wrong somehow. In any case, I have the new installation on the separated SSD boot into that SSD by hitting F12 on bootup and selecting which SSD to use as the boot drive. That way my primary SSD with daily driver isn't effected by these additional installations. (Have never been able to get Virtual Box to run in Linux though used it often in Windows, which haven't used in over five years now and is no longer on any partitions anywhere.
I have Lenovo W350, a workstation laptop, and it should be fine with Linux, but I am a low-skills Linuxer who avoids command line stuff, not being able to remember the commands and having to look up on forums every time I try to do anything in there.
In any case, I do find the installation business a real lift. I can do an Ext 4 one fine, but got it in my head to do BTRFS so that the backup issues with Solus would be taken care of, but just cannot get there...
