Works without issue for me, I didn't need to paste any confirmation codes. I simply clicked to set up syncing, clicked to Sign in with my Microsoft account. It opened up in Firefox, I logged in, it redirected to an "Azure Account - Sign In" locally, and instantly my account was connected and it informed me that I could close the "Azure Account - Sign In" localhost page.
