Hello everyone,
I tried every which way possible but I am having a very hard time making dual boot with Windows 10 work.
What I have is a Ryzen 3 3300X on an X570 motherboard with a 1TB NVME SSD and a 120GB SATA SSD as my boot drives and a 250 GB SATA SSD and a 2 TB HDD as my storage drives.
As mentioned previously, I tried a lot of different things but this is my latest attempt at things. Started with clean install on the 120GB SATA SSD with Solus and allowed the installer to do its thing with partitioning and ended up with a roughly 500 MB FAT partition for EFI and the remaining for the OS. Then I installed Windows on the 1TB NVME SSD and it essentially over-wrote the EFI bootloader on the 500MB FAT partition for itself. Then I reinstalled Solus in the hope that the installer would somehow find the Windows install and properly work out the bootloader to show both OSes but to no joy.
Anyone suggest a way around this? I am tired of using the UEFI boot option to go into Solus every time and the EFI partition only takes me into Windows. Tried using Grub Editor to no avail as well.
Thanks for your help!
