palto42 I have a question regarding solus packaging and eopkg installation: Is it possible to include a script in the package with solbuild which will be launched after installation, e.g. to configure the installed software?
palto42 kyrios Thanks for pointing me to usysconf. What's not clear to me is how to use it, e.g. where to but such TOML files and how usysconf is triggered.
DataDrake palto42 You won't be able to use the TOML triggers until we've upgraded it in Solus, anyways.
palto42 DataDrake Thanks, no urgency for me. I was just curious how this works in Solus if I create a package with e.g. a systemd service to get it enabled.
kyrios palto42 Here is an example https://dev.getsol.us/source/cups-filters/browse/master/package.yml$52
DataDrake palto42 As @kyrios pointed out, systemd stuff is usually handled with symlinks and things. It only needs a post-install trigger to start a newly installed service, and usysconf will support that.
