Signal-desktop : cannot link, needs update

Hi everyone,

One a fresh new installed Solus Plasma, whenever I try to link the signal-desktop electron app to my phone app, I get this error : "Update Signal on this device to link your phone".

Any idea why ?

That wasn't the case last week on another laptop with Solus Plasma.

There is a bug with the version of signal-desktop we have 1.36.2 that is resolved in 1.36.3

This release resolves a bug that prevented some users from linking a new desktop instance.

Hi,
I have a similar issue recently, so just added to this thread. The message I get in red is "Signal has expired". Anyone else have this issue? I attached a screenshot of the message and the version number I'm using next to it.

This issue is fixed on Unstable. The update will be available in the next sync.
